• The UBC Subreddit • The UBC Reddit has saved me many headaches. From deciding which first year housing was best to what courses I should take to fill my schedule, it has many many uses. • There's also a pinned megathread which should answer many questions you might have regarding any topic at all! (You can also ask questions to anyone in our club as well :) ) • You can honestly just post memes or rant if you feel like it. There's for sure someone who can help you or understands your issues. • Rate My Professor • This is for when you're deciding what courses you want to take. In my personal opinion some can honestly make or break the course depending on how they teach. • You can search up your professor's name and see what comments people have about them, how hard they grade, whether you need a textbook, and even more! • UBC Class of 2025 Groups • There are many facebook, instagram, or even discord groups and servers that can help you get settled. It's a great way to make friends and just get yourself out there! I've made so many friends through these groups that I still talk to even at the end of my first year! • UBC Marketplace Facebook • This facebook group is great for whenever you want to buy or sell anything. Most of the stuff is usually second hand but it's definitely a lot cheaper than buying everything from amazon or in stores. • Just make sure you don't get scammed!!!! • UBC Thai Aiyara ;) • This is honestly self promo but to be completely honest, we have a great community in our club!
